Dutch Lighthouse Hunt 2025 event evaluation.

After a month of activating the lighthouse hunt on many bands, we can call it a successful event for our small group of Dutch radio amateurs.

With a total of 26,646 contacts on FT8-4 and by phone, we are extremely satisfied. Unfortunately, the band conditions weren't ideal in the first week; things were still going well, but weeks 2 and 3 were very poor. In the last week, we were able to catch up a bit. We learned a few things, did some things well, but there were also things that could have been done better.

We will definitely approach this very differently in the upcoming events we organize. These weren't mistakes, but rather minor structural issues that we hadn't anticipated.

We are already looking for the next event, so keep an eye on our website and QRZ pages so you can enjoy another fantastic event.

To all the radio amateurs who participated in this event, I would like to sincerely thank you for the many contacts and enjoyable conversations. We hope to be able to treat you to more fun and wonderful events. So be prepared, because this event has given us a great boost to organize another one soon.
