Iedere maandagavond, mits de condities het toelaten, activeren de leden van de Dutch Radio Group (PI4DRG) een 40 meter net!

📡 Hoe werkt het 40 Meter Net?
Dit evenement is geen standaard ronde, maar een echt net. Onze Net Control Operator (NCO), Nico (PD2TX), leidt alles in goede banen met behulp van geavanceerde, zelfgeschreven Hamvision software.
Zodra je je roepnaam (callsign) invoert via de link, sta je in de Queue. De NCO geeft de stations in de wachtrij vervolgens de mogelijkheid om een verbinding te maken met een nader genoemd tegenstation. De software registreert exact wie met wie heeft gewerkt. Na een succesvolle verbinding verandert de status onder jouw naam van groen naar rood. Dit gaat door totdat in principe iedereen met elkaar een verbinding heeft gemaakt.
📜 Regels & Deelname
- Voor iedereen: Deelname is open voor iedere radio-operator, ongeacht uit welk land je komt. Hoe meer stations, hoe leuker!
- Discipline: Houd je strikt aan de regels van dit evenement en volg de instructies van de NCO.
- Toekomstige NCO's: Mocht Nico onverhoopt afwezig zijn, dan kunnen leden van de DRG het net overnemen. Wil je dit in de toekomst proberen? Luister dan voorlopig intensief mee om te leren hoe Nico dit doet en hoe de software werkt. Een goede basis is de sleutel tot succes, en we weten: alle begin is moeilijk!
✉️ Speciale QSL Kaart
Voor dit 40 meter net is een speciale QSL-kaart ontworpen. Als je e-mailadres bij QRZ.com bekend is, ontvang je deze na deelname automatisch in je mailbox.

📡 How does the 40 Meter Net work?
This event is not a standard roundtable, but a true net. Our Net Control Operator (NCO), Nico (PD2TX), manages everything using advanced, custom-written Hamvision software.
Once you enter your callsign via the link, you are placed in the Queue. The NCO will then give the stations in the queue the opportunity to make a connection with a specified counter-station. The software keeps exact track of who has worked whom. After a successful connection, the status under your name will change from green to red. This process continues until, in principle, everyone has made a connection with everyone else.
📜 Rules & Participation
- For everyone: Participation is open to every radio operator, regardless of which country you are from. The more stations, the more fun!
- Discipline: Please strictly adhere to the rules of this event and follow the instructions of the NCO.
- Future NCOs: Should Nico unexpectedly be absent, members of the DRG can take over the net. Would you like to try this in the future? For now, listen closely to learn how Nico operates and how the software works. A good foundation is the key to success, and as we all know: every beginning is difficult!

A special QSL card has been designed for this 40 meter net. If your email address is known on QRZ.com, you will automatically receive it in your mailbox after participating.
